***Local Route Driver, Home nightly and Weekends*** (Houston TX)
We are currently seeking Route Drivers. A valid class C driver's license is required.
The driver will be responsible for operating a straight truck equipped with a vacuum tank for the collection of Used Cooking Oil.
Routes will be located in Texas, primarily around the Houston area. Drivers will return home each night and typically have weekends off.
Job Requirements:
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a clean MVR with no DWI's or significant accidents.
• Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
Physical Demands:
• Constantly required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
• Frequently required to sit for long durations.
• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to push or pull weights up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to push, pull, move, or lift weights up to 75 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must be available to work weekends and/or overtime as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Involves lifting, climbing, and bending
• Must be able to remain on feet for most of the workday
• Work conditions may vary, including hot, cold, and wet environments
• Exposure to strong odors and smells.
