2 Lanes Transport LLC is seeking a professional and safety-focused CDL driver with a sleeper truck to operate under our authority while operating a company-owned flatbed trailer. We are looking for an experienced driver who understands flatbed operations, load securement, and customer service. This opportunity offers consistent freight, dispatch support, and competitive percentage-based compensation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Safely transport freight in compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
Properly secure loads using chains, straps, binders, tarps, and other securement equipment as required.
Maintain accurate logs and required transportation documents.
Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding load status, delays, and delivery updates.
Deliver freight on time while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Report equipment issues, accidents, incidents, or violations immediately.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance and represent the company positively with customers and shippers.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
QualificationsRequired
Valid Class CDL and have your own sleeper truck.
Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience.
Flatbed experience preferred.
Ability to pass a DOT drug screening.
Clean driving record with no serious violations.
Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
Ability to lift, climb, bend, and perform physical tasks associated with load securement.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Experience with tarping and advanced load securement techniques.
Equipment Requirements
Sleeper truck in good operating condition.
Ability to pull a company-owned flatbed trailer.
