Duties:
Deliver freight to various locations while adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance reports
Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety regulations
Assist with securing freight on different types of trailers including refrigerated units, flatbeds, conestogas and dry vans
Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
Experience:
Proven experience in over the road truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight transport
Familiarity with driving tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated, conestoga or dry van trailers
Experience with route driving across urban or rural areas is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to manage long hours on the road while maintaining safety standards
