Athens Hotel & Corp Apartments in Downtown Houston is looking for a reliable maintenance/handyman worker to help with ongoing hotel repairs and projects.
We are looking for someone who can handle general repair work without needing to be supervised every minute.
Responsibilities include:
Performing basic maintenance and repair work around the hotel, including:
Light carpentry
Drywall repair and patching
Painting and touch-ups
Light electrical repairs
Light plumbing repairs
Door, lock, trim, furniture, and fixture repairs
Caulking, grout, and minor bathroom repairs
Troubleshooting small maintenance issues in guest rooms and common areas
Completing projects cleanly, safely, and on time
Requirements:
Must have their own tools
Must have experience in general maintenance or handyman work
Must know how to use basic tools
Must be reliable and show up on time
Must be able to work independently
Must keep work areas clean
Must have transportation
Must be available for project-based work or hourly work
Pay:
$25 per hour, depending on experience and type of work.
We are also open to paying per project for specific jobs, depending on the scope.
