Cable Technician Duties:
• Pulling and terminating CAT 6 and Fiber Optic Cabling
• Installing patch panels and building out beautiful network closets
* Terminating fiber using Corning UNICAM ends.
* Installing cameras and WAPS and speakers and switches and routers
* BONUS for ability to instal NVRs + cloud phone service
Cable Technician Requirements:
• Must Pass Drug Screen, State/Federal Background check
• Recent experience performing low voltage / structured cabling installations in a commercial setting
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards
• Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels
• Fiber experience including Corning Unicam Terminations, SC and LC Connectors
• Basic telecom tools including punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill etc.
PPE required
• Gloves
• Hard Hat
• Safety Glasses
• Safety Vest
• Steel Toed Boots
Compensation:
• Competitive starting pay depending on experience
• Guarantee 40 hour pay with OT after 40 worked hours. Paid Bi-weekly!
