Responsibilities
Control access by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity around the facility and detect potential threats or irregularities.
Respond swiftly to security incidents or emergencies by following established protocols and communicating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
Perform routine patrols of the premises to identify hazards, prevent theft, and ensure compliance with safety policies.
Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions effectively.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring for suspicious behavior and implementing preventative measures.
Skills
Strong knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and other security technology.
Ability to perform first aid procedures and CPR confidently in emergency situations.
Background in law enforcement, military service, or security industries is highly advantageous.
Excellent conflict management skills with a calm and assertive demeanor.
Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices.
Knowledge of safety protocols including CPR, first aid, and emergency response procedures.
