Hello, I'm a 36 year old male looking for work in the Houston area. I'm in good shape, I don't drink or do drugs and I have a vehicle.
Most of my experience is in restaurants, and I've also driven 26-foot trucks for a moving company in the past. I have a little construction background as well, though I'm not looking to go back to that. That said, I'm genuinely open to learning a trade — something like plumbing, electrical, or similar — and I wouldn't mind starting from the ground up if the right opportunity came along.
I'm not an office person. I'd rather be on my feet, moving around, doing something hands-on. Outside of that, I'm pretty open to whatever's out there. I don't mind hard work at all — that's never been an issue.
My only real requirement is a minimum of $18/hour. That's the one thing I need to make work.
