A large 450+ unit apartment community is seeking a strong, experienced Property Manager who can step into the role and take over operations seamlessly. This position requires a hands-on leader who thrives in challenging environments, understands complex property operations, and can quickly stabilize and organize a large community.
The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), highly organized, decisive, and experienced in managing large multifamily communities with significant operational demands.
Position Overview
The Property Manager will oversee the daily operations of a 450+ unit apartment community, including leasing, collections, maintenance coordination, staff management, and resident relations. This role requires someone who is experienced in handling complex operational issues and maintaining control of a high-volume property environment.
This is an opportunity for a strong manager who is comfortable stepping into a fast-paced property and immediately implementing structure, accountability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of a 450+ unit apartment community
Manage and lead leasing, maintenance, and support staff
Address tenant issues, delinquencies, and operational challenges
Ensure occupancy, leasing performance, and collections goals are met
Coordinate with maintenance to ensure units are rent-ready and work orders are completed
Handle resident relations and conflict resolution
Implement operational procedures and maintain property standards
Monitor property performance and maintain organized reporting
Work closely with ownership and asset management
Qualifications
5+ years of multifamily property management experience
Experience managing large apartment communities (300+ units preferred)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proven ability to manage complex properties and operational challenges
Experience handling delinquencies, tenant issues, and high-volume operations
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to step into a property and stabilize operations quickly
