We are seeking an experienced Loan Processor to join our team as an independent contractor. This is a remote, part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone who is highly efficient, detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple files while meeting strict closing deadlines. The ideal candidate is proactive, communicates clearly, and takes pride in delivering excellent service to clients and partners.
Responsibilities:
Process residential loan files from contract to closing
Review and verify loan documentation for accuracy and completeness
Submit files to underwriting and manage conditions
Maintain consistent communication with borrowers, loan officers, title companies, and other parties
Monitor closing timelines and ensure deadlines are met
Ensure compliance with all lending guidelines and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of recent loan processing experience
Strong knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and/or other residential loan products
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple files simultaneously
Professional communication and customer service skills
Position Details:
100% Remote
Independent contractor role
Full-time (with potential to grow into full-time)
Compensation: $300 per closed file
Must be available Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CST
