I have several MSD distributors that I have re-furbished and tested. All were tested to 8000 rpms on my machine using an MSD 7AL box. Some have the mechanical advance locked and some don't. Only one has a vacuum advance. The prices vary. The ones that use a slip collar are priced without the collar. Other prices are without a cap or rotor unless noted.
Here is the list:
8458 With Tach Drive $200
8555 $150
85551 Pro Billet $200
8361 Pro Billet w/vac advance $185
8556 Marine requires slip collar $175
Older marine with provision for dual pickup requires slip collar $150
Chevy HEI Complete with cap, coil, and rotor $100
If the distributor is locked I can re-install the mechanical advance and plot the curve if you desire.
