We have 2 wheel drive and 4x4 applications available.
The last step, and probably the most important step, is that we will program your computer to eliminate ALL torque converter slip. Using HP Tuners we can go into the factory programming and remove the malicious code that destroys the torque converters in these vehicles. If you have a 2010 Chevrolet full size vehicle that has this transmission in it-YOU NEED TO FIX THE PROGRAMMING IMMEDIATELY. If you are still running on the factory transmission, and the converter is not destroyed yet-FIX the programming and you might avoid a costly transmission rebuild in the future. If you have already had your transmission rebuilt but the shop that did it did not fix the programming-DO IT NOW! If you are not sure whether your vehicle has had the programming fixed yet, come by our shop and we will check it for you FOR FREE.. If all you need is programming done-it's $150 on vehicles that only require 2 credits, or $250 on vehicles that require 4 credits (usually 2017 and newer). We include this programming on ALL of our rebuilds in the price listed above as we want the transmission to last as long as possible as we care about our customers. This is how we are able to offer a 5 year, 100,000 mile warranty on 6L80E rebuilds. We have figured out how to address all of the known weak points and fix them so that you don't have to worry about having another failure.
The price listed above is INSTALLED with us doing all of the labor to remove your old transmission, install our remanufactured unit, programming, and doing the thermostat by-pass. Our typical turn around time is 1 business day.. Meaning the next day after you drop off your vehicle it is usually ready for pick up. We have these units in stock, already remanufactured, ready to be installed, and this is how we can get you back into your vehicle as fast as we do.
Our shop is open Monday through Friday from 8:00AM until 5:30PM, and Saturdays from 9:00AM until 12:00PM. We are also available for evening (after work hours) pick ups until 9PM. *After hours pick ups must be scheduled at time of initial vehicle drop off so that we can plan to have someone here for your desired pick up time.
As part of our programming to fix the issues from the factory, we have the ability to make other changes in the programming. If your vehicle has tires that are larger, or smaller, than factory we can fix that for you so that your speedometer registers correctly, and your odometer will then also register accurate mileage-we do this at no additional cost. If you are interested in eliminating your speed limiter, or AFM/DOD, we can help. If you have installed after market exhaust, or a cold air intake, or any other change to the engine, we can adjust the tune for optimal settings for any, or all, of these situations. If suspect you are having transmission issues you can come by for a FREE diagnostic check out. Check outs typically take about 15 minutes and include an electronic scan, checking of the transmission fluid level and condition (on those vehicles equipped with a dip stick), and a short road test. If you are coming for a FREE check out we do them between 8:00AM and 11:30AM, and 1:00PM until 4:30PM Monday through Friday, and during our normal hours on Saturday.
