Cutting taxes and increasing spending makes the deficit so much greater, adding to the debt at record paces for non-COVID years.
And what about Medicare? Social Security? SS will be cut in 2033 automatically unless something changes. Older workers are retiring at a record pace, and newer workers are entering the tax paying workforce at a slower pace. Not a good combination of factors.
But Trump and the GOP are focused on building the ballroom and Arc. And putting Trump's signature on currency. And putting Trump's picture on passports.
Good grief, the ego, the silliness, the stupidity, the arrogance, the trashiness...it never ends with Trump and his Crime Family.
