DocSolutionUSA is seeking a detail-oriented Collateral Management Specialist to join our growing operations team in Pasadena, Texas. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting post-closing and collateral management functions for mortgage and lending clients nationwide.
Position Overview
The Collateral Management Specialist is responsible for receiving, reviewing, tracking, and managing original loan documents and recorded instruments. This role is critical to ensuring collateral accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to custodians and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and inventory original loan documents and collateral files
Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
Track collateral status using internal systems and spreadsheets
Prepare files for shipment to custodians, clients, or recording offices
Coordinate with internal teams regarding missing or defective documents
Maintain strict chain-of-custody and audit controls
Scan, index, and archive documents as required
Follow documented procedures and compliance standards
Qualifications
Prior experience in mortgage collateral, post-closing, document control, or loan servicing preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle time-sensitive and confidential documents
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Comfortable working with physical files and tracking systems
Reliable attendance and ability to work in-office daily
High school diploma or equivalent required (college coursework a plus)
