Assistant Manager at Pepperoni's

Pepperoni's in Humble / Atascocita, TX is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working to ensure smooth and efficient running of the establishment, maintaining high standards of customer service, and maximizing profitability.

The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing full restaurant operations including front of house, kitchen and back of house with a strong background in culinary management, team leadership, and food service operations. Food Protection Manager Certification is required.

Requirements:

Food Protection Manager Certification

Previous restaurant leadership / management operations

High School Diploma

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Excellent organizational abilities

The ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

Experience with a POS (point of sale) system and cash registers

Basic computer knowledge

Ability to effectively resolve complaints

Knowledge of food handling regulations and health codes

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities

Lead staff members, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service

Manage food storage, inventory, and ingredient orders

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines

Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner

Operate in the best interest of the company

Provide direction to the team during shift; acts as a coach and mentor, role modeling the expectations of customer service and upholding Pepperoni’s standards

Coach, educate and motivate the team to maintain a high-quality customer service experience

Ensure cleaning and maintenance schedules are followed to maintain cleanliness of equipment and pizzeria in general
