Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused New Accounts Specialist/Teller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping customers, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is critical in ensuring a positive customer experience by providing top-notch service and support for new and existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide information on bank products and services.
Account Management: Open new accounts, including checking, savings, and other types of accounts, ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed.
Transaction Processing: Handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other teller transactions efficiently and accurately.
Cross-Selling: Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services to enhance their banking experience.

Compliance: Ensure all banking operations comply with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to achieve branch goals and ensure a cohesive work environment.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field a plus but not required.
Experience: 3-4 years experience in banking, customer service required.

Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficiency with banking software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance
