Hard rock jam band lets do this

Shot in the dark but I'm looking for any like-minded musicians that have similar music tastes and would like to get together and see what happens. I'm 53, been playing bass since I was 18 or 19. I've picked up other instruments along the way but Bass guitar is my go-to (also moderate levels of vocals). I didn't go to music school but I am passionate about music and desire to play with others who have musical awareness- i.e. we listen to each other closely, improvise, or plan it out (or both). I love Dark gloomy old school heavy metal but also jam bands that create space and take you on a ride. I am particularly obsessed with Geezer. I love the mix of songwriting, killer musicianship, energy, and chemistry those guys display. I love heavy metal bands, but I do not want to throw a few chords together and repeat for 20 minutes (unless the dynamics are tasteful and interesting lol). I appreciate a balance of good songwriting, dynamic shifts, syncopation, energy, and overall tightness within a group.
I'll add that I've worked in studios and live venues that have solid recording rigs. So there's a lot of potential for creating music and getting it out there. Also already know the lay of the land (for the most part) here in H-town. Getting decent gigs wouldn't be an issue as I feel I'mvery out spoked and communicating isn't an issue.
I am semi retired have a job that is flexable and have two kids over 18 years old that can take care of them selfs, I a single parent that did the mom dad city hall just about there whole life. So music is important to me as I stay away from crazy relationships that will hinder my practice schedule. Not looking for any insane commitment, but let's see if this sparks any interest and we can chat more.
