Country band based in the Tomball/Cypress area is seeking a new Lead Guitarist. We play Country anthems and some 90's to current Nashville hits, but we lean more towards Texas red dirt and some originals. Currently, we are disbanded and not playing gigs, but the remaining members are hoping to re-form the band and get to gigging again asap. We are hoping to find someone that enjoys Country music and more importantly, has a great attitudee, is friendly, and can be committed to a band. We do get paid for our gigs, but we do this for the fun, and the love, of playing in a band with friends. If money is your first priority, or you gig to pay your bills, then this band probably isn't what your looking for.
Rehearsals are weekly in the Cypress area until the band meshes, and then will be as needed to learn new songs.
You should have some knowledge and ability to play styles common in Country music, (but you don't need to be Brad Paisley...you just need to want to continually learn and get better with the band). If you question your skill level...don't...we're patient and willing to take our time as long as you're willing to try.
A good attitude, friendly personality, and comitment are a must (yes, I know thats twice I noted that, but thats how important it is). Race, gender, age dont matter...If this post is up, then we're still looking.
If you're interested, send me a response and I'll get back with you asap. If this post is up...then we're till looking.
