Silvertone Mars Stratotone, model 1327, from 1961, made in excellent condition. This is one sweet guitar, light as a feather with its chambered body, and a rockin’ machine with its twin Hershey Bar DeArmond Pickups.

Harmony made the Stratotone line of guitars in the late 50’s and early 60’s, and branded them as Harmony instruments as well as under the names of a number of other distributors / retailers. While the bodies and pickup configurations were generally the same, the layout of controls was different for each “brand” under which the guitars appeared. This particular layout, with two volume and two tone controls, and a three position Telecaster style Pickup Selector Switch was unique to the guitars distributed by Sears as Silvertones.

This guitar is in great shape, well maintained and almost entirely original.

This is a great guitar for blues or roots rock, with a warm round tone out of the neck pickup and just the right amount of sparkle in the bridge. Pair it with a nice tube amp and a some tasty overdrive, and it will sound killer.

Comes with the original hard shell case.
