1964 Blackface 5F1 Fender Champ. This is the rare transitional model. The 5F1 is a tweed circuit. In early 1964 Fender housed the old tweed circuit and one knob design in enclosures with black tolex before moving to the AA764 circuit and design.

Amp was fully serviced by Tube Works Amp Repair in the summer of 2025. All tubes tested strong. The 6V6 power tube is a Black plate RCA. Rectifier and preamp tubes are modern Sovtek.

Speaker is a period correct but non-original 1965 Jensen. Transformers are original.

Amp is a great sounding tone monster. Does everything from sweet cleans to rocky crunch at volumes that won’t shake your house or make your recording studio engineer cringe!
