1954 Rickenbacker (USA) all tube, point to point wired guitar amplifier.
7 watts with an 8” Jensen speaker. Has a 5Y3 RCA rectifier, 6V6 RCA power tube and a modern 12AX7 preamp tube. Amp sounds great and is super quiet at idle which makes it great for recording.
Excellent clean sounds but also can get a great lead sound when turned up past 7 or 8.
I recapped the amp and added a grounded power cord. The original power supply can capacitor was left in but removed from the circuit. I replaced it with a dual sector modern F&T capacitor which is mounted inside the chassis. Several other capacitors were replaced with high quality SoZo capacitors. Lastly a new grill cloth was added. All of the old caps and even the old grill cloth will convey with the sale.
