This Epiphone Marty Schwartz Signature ES335 features a 60s mid-slim C neck profile, twin Alnico Pro Humbuckers with coil splitting push-pull pots, giving the guitar a wide array of sounds. In addition, there is another push/pull on the neck tone knob that reverses the phase, giving funky out-of-phase sounds completing the tonal palette. A nicely flamed maple veneer under a rich red cherry finish, along with 60s small block inlays in an Indian laurel fretboard, combined with the Inspired by Gibson headstock equipped with Grover locking tuners complete the aesthetics. Unlike other examples found on the internet, this guitar has no structural or neck issues requiring repairs. Sound-wise, the Alnico Pro pickups are full sounding with a nice top end with, to my ears, no mud in the lower frequencies. Rounding out the package, it comes with an Epiphone labeled hard shell case. Local sales only, no shipping.
