5 string banjo. Professional quality instrument. There is no manufacturer plate with make and model. Based on the headstock and the style, it appears to be a Samick Masterpiece. I bought it from a friend a few years back and almost never played it. It has a new head and bridge that I put on when I got it. It also has the "railroad spikes" on the fifth string.
