This is 2000 Gibson Flying V ‘67 in a gloss cherry nitrocellulose finish.
You commonly see these Flying V reissues in cherry, but they usually have satin finishes, which I was never a fan of; I love this guitar’s finish much more.
This guitar has lived a full life, and show it with the various buckle rash marks, dings, and wearing in the lacquer. Please see photos.
The previous owner of this guitar upgraded the pickups and the case. I installed 496r and 500t pickups, like you would have in a fresh out-of-the factory guitar. Although they are not stock, they sound great. Everything else is stock.
Update: The case candy is NOT original. The previous owner didn't advertise so it's fine, but the case candy that comes with it is from a 2021 Gibson Explorer. NOT from this guitar.
