Selling a vintage Lyra Percussion "Stencil" snare drum 15" X 11" in gold sparkle. "Stencil drums" were Japanese copies of major drum manufacturers like Slingerland and Rogers that were created in the 50's to the 80's. They feature some of the most unique finishes that you can find and have become a unique category of affordable collectors drums. The forum suggest these were made by Pearl as knock off of Radio King snare drums with Slingerland type lugs.
This is similar in size to a marching snare. It has the snare on the bottom and the felt sound damper for the top head. This appears to have a birch shell, with support rings at the top and bottom. It also has a ring at the top suggesting its use as a marching snare.
