Selling my made in the USA Silvertone classical guitar. Not sure of the date, but these date from the 50-60's, but searched inside to make this listing and found no date stamp. I just restrung it with light classical nylon strings, as you will note on the inside label not to use steel strings. Overall condition is great for it's age. The upper binding is all intact, but shows some areas that are lighter like a tortise shell guitar pick. (NOTE: The pictures make the binding look bad, gut it is the tortish shell coloring and all the binding is solid). There are some scratches on the front flat top sound board, but the rest of the body is in very excellent condition with little to no play wear evident. The width of the nut is about 52mm, so a wide neck like most classical guitars.
This guitar has very playable action, lower than most classical guitars you see, so it would be great for the beginner and advanced players. This same guitar is selling online for as much as +$500 including shipping and tax.
