We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator with a strong background in architectural millwork, custom casework, and commercial woodworking projects.
Responsibilities:
✅ Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
✅ Prepare accurate material, labor, and subcontractor cost estimates
✅ Perform quantity takeoffs and scope reviews
✅ Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
✅ Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients
✅ Assist with bid proposals and project budgeting
✅ Identify value engineering opportunities
Qualifications:
✔️ Proven experience estimating architectural millwork projects
✔️ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
✔️ Strong knowledge of woodworking materials, fabrication, and installation methods
✔️ Experience with commercial construction bidding processes
✔️ Excellent organizational and communication skills
✔️ Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
Preferred Experience:
⭐ Commercial millwork
⭐ Custom cabinetry
⭐ Hospitality, healthcare, retail, airport, or institutional projects
⭐ Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microvellum, or similar software
