Gemini Legal Pros is a growing paralegal and investigation firm specializing in high-level legal drafting and forensic case analysis. We are seeking a sharp, motivated Paralegal to join our remote team.
This is not just an administrative role; we are looking for someone ready to engage with the substance of the law. You will work directly with our Lead Paralegal and Investigation Team to draft documents, conduct research, and help manage the lifecycle of complex cases. This is an ideal position for a law student, a recent graduate, or a paralegal certificate holder looking for hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Legal Drafting & Case Management: Draft and edit legal pleadings, motions, and correspondence. Ensure case files are meticulously organized and deadlines are tracked.
Research: Conduct legal research (Westlaw/LexisNexis) and gather relevant case information to support legal arguments.
Client Coordination: Serve as a professional point of contact for clients and courts, handling updates and inquiries with discretion and empathy.
Administrative Support: Assist with calendaring, scheduling, and logistical tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or a paralegal certificate is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A strong desire to learn and grow within the legal field.
Prior experience in a professional office setting or customer service is a plus, but not required.
Compensation and Schedule:
Compensation: Starting at $20/hr, depending on experience.
Employment Type: Part-Time, 1099 Independent Contractor.
Schedule: 2–3 days a week, 3–4 hours per day (Specific days and hours are flexible and will be discussed/agreed upon).
