We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator for a 2-week temporary assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent forklift experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position may include loading, unloading, material handling, and general warehouse duties.
Responsibilities
Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or electric pallet jack (as assigned)
Load and unload trucks efficiently
Move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
Pick, stage, and organize products for shipment
Perform inventory and material handling tasks
Inspect forklift before each shift and report any maintenance issues
Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operating experience
Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Steel-toe boots required (if applicable)
