Looking for an experienced framing contractor or carpenter to install temporary structural support.
The interior wall of this room has failed due to termite damage and subfloor deterioration. In some areas, the bottom plate and studs are no longer providing support from the ground up.
We are planning to demolish the exterior steel carport, but there is concern that the ceiling or wall could shift or collapse. If removed without proper support.
Scope of Work:
Build temporary support wall OR install adjustable jack posts
Support ceiling joists in area where wall framing has failed
Transfer load safely to floor system
Reinforce base if subfloor is weak
Ensure structure is stable prior to exterior demolition (carport removal)
Requirements:
Experience with framing and structural support (not just drywall or basic carpentry)
Must understand load-bearing concepts
Own tools and ability to adapt on-site
Reliable and able to complete job quickly
