Ongoing Contract Mover / Driver for Couch Pickup and Delivery (Southwest Houston)

Local furniture business needs a reliable mover / driver for recurring couch pickups and deliveries. You must have previous work experience with moving furniture in a safe way that avoids injury to yourself and/or damage to customer residences.
We pay a flat rate per job, not hourly. If you work fast and can handle moving couches alone, this is an excellent opportunity for recurring side income.
What You'll Do:
Pickups: Collect furniture from local residences and bring it to our Southwest Houston location (mostly within a 35-minute radius).
Deliveries: Deliver sold furniture from our Southwest Houston location out to customer homes in the greater Houston area.
SOLO COUCH MOVING REQUIRED: You must be fully capable of loading, unloading, and navigating standard sectional sofas into and out of residences on your own.
Compensation:
Standard Pickups & Deliveries: $75 flat per job (within 35 minutes of the SW facility).
Distance Bonus: For deliveries over 35 minutes away, you get an extra $2.00 per minute of additional drive time via Google Maps. Example: A 45-minute trip adds $20, paying $95 total.
What You Need:
Your Own Vehicle: A full-size pickup, cargo van, box truck, or large utility trailer capable of holding a sectional, and keeping it safe from rain.
Equipment: A heavy-duty furniture dolly, tie-down straps, and protective moving blankets. Preferable if you have your own, but we can provide.
Real Experience: Background in residential moving. You must know how to clear tight door frames, stairs, and corners without scratching walls or inventory.
Communication: Fluent English is required to communicate with customers.
Punctuality, reliability, and a smartphone for photos and location tracking.
