ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate gas‑fueled cutting torches (oxy‑acetylene or oxy‑fuel systems) to cut, trim, or shape metal components according to production specifications.
Interpret blueprints, cut lists, and fabrication drawings to determine cutting paths, tolerances, and material requirements.
Set up torch equipment, including regulators, hoses, tips, and gas cylinders, ensuring proper pressure settings and leak‑free connections.
Perform straight cuts, bevel cuts, pierces, and contour cuts on steel plate, tubing, and structural components.
Measure and mark materials using squares, gauges, and templates to ensure accurate cutting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Load and unload metal parts into furnaces, bins, baskets, or fixtures.
Move materials using hand trucks, hoists, or forklifts (certification may be required).
Assist operators with setting up and monitoring heat treating equipment (furnaces, quenching tanks, etc.)
Perform basic maintenance tasks like cleaning machines and work areas.
Follow written shop orders and customer instructions for heat treating cycles.
Help monitor furnace temperatures and timing to ensure proper treatment.
Quench heated parts in oil or water baths to achieve desired hardness.
Clean parts using wire brushes, solvents, or sandblasting

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diagnose and repair electrical faults in CNC machines, automated equipment, and facility systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC I/O layouts, and control panel drawings.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot motors, drives, relays, sensors, solenoids, contactors, and power distribution components.
