The position is responsible for providing quality hard floors restoration services; stripping VCT, buffing, coating, etc. Additional accountabilities include, but not limited to: ensuring all actions are completed in a safe manner; following instructions on work orders; working as a team; maintains a consistent flow of communication with team; driving company vehicles; and, taking before and after pictures. This is a night position starting at 5:00 PM.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• IICRC Certifications desired
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• 1 year experience and or training in hard floor care desired but not mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team
• Demonstrated ability to learn and utilize new skills
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite desired; photo taking skills a plus
• Professional personal presentation
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations required
• Valid driver license required
• Ability to handle changing priorities and achieve desired objectives required
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of the company and clients
• Ability to maintain poise, tact and diplomacy required
• Ability to work nights and weekends and adjust scheduled to meet business needs
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand/accurately perform all cleaning (restorative/maintenance) methods for carpet, furniture and wall panels, to include, upholstery, fabric, and leather
• Understand and accurately perform cleaning (restorative and maintenance) methods for hard surfaces including but not limited to ceramic, porcelain and stone; buffing, waxing, coating, polishing hard floor surfaces
• Understand and accurately perform water damage restoration
• Complete work order paperwork, before/after pictures after each job and notify supervisor of any special circumstances.
• Ensures all work is completed per work order instructions and ensures work orders are then completed with all proper time and notes captured
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work area including the use of caution signs and barriers
• Be able to drive company vehicles to and from client locations
• Responsible for care and cleanliness of cleaning equipment and vehicles
• Report to work on time and in proper uniform
• Pursue obtaining IICRC certifications in commercial carpet, upholstery, water restoration and ceramic tile
• Follow rules, policies, regulations as outlined in company handbook
• Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner
• Physical demands; while performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand and walk, frequently required to use hands to fingers, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, frequently lift and or up to 50 pounds.
