RedCap Staffing is currently seeking a Licensed Electrician Apprentice to assist experienced electricians on commercial and industrial job sites in the Houston area. This position is ideal for someone with a current Texas Apprentice Electrician License who wants to gain hands-on field experience while working with a skilled electrical team.
Job Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
Pull wire, run conduit, and install electrical components
Measure, cut, and bend conduit using hand and power tools
Install outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels
Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
Maintain tools and keep work areas clean and safe
Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety regulations
Support troubleshooting and testing of electrical systems as directed by journeyman or master electricians
Requirements
Valid Texas Apprentice Electrician License (required)
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools
Ability to work in commercial or industrial environments
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions if outdoors
Reliable transportation to job sites
Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience on commercial or construction job sites
Familiarity with conduit bending, wire pulling, and basic electrical installations
Ability to read basic blueprints or electrical diagrams
