Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
Conduct routine inspections of properties and identify potential problems
Complete preventative maintenance tasks to avoid future repairs
Maintain exterior areas including parking lots, walkways, landscaping, and lighting
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and local codes
Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed
Keep accurate records of work orders, repairs, and materials used
Assist with unit turns, including repairs, cleaning coordination, and readiness for new tenants
Address emergency maintenance issues after hours as needed
Qualifications
Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field
Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
HVAC certification (EPA Certification preferred)
Experience working in multi-family or commercial properties
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Work Schedule
Full-time position
May require evenings, weekends, and on-call availability for emergencies
