Job Summary:
ZLynx Enterprise Inc. is a veteran‐owned organization providing ground maintenance services for the U.S.
Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery. We take great pride in ensuring that our nation’s

honoring each veteran’s final resting place.
The Ground Maintenance Foreman oversees daily grounds operations at the National Cemetery, ensuring
the site is maintained to the highest standards of appearance and safety in order to honor and preserve
the dignity of our nation’s veterans and their families. This position leads and supervises maintenance
staff, coordinates work schedules, and ensures all cemetery grounds consistently reflect a respectful and
dignified environment. The role requires hands‐on involvement, strong attention to detail, and a high level
of professionalism while working in a setting dedicated to honoring veterans and supporting their families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and direct ground maintenance staff and equipment operations.
Plan, schedule, and assign daily maintenance activities required in accordance with the National
Cemetery Administration standards and statement of work.
Oversee grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, raking, debris removal from
walkways and memorial areas.
Ensure landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers and utility vehicles are
operating in a safe and efficient manner.
Inspect work areas to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with procedures.
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials; request repairs or replacements as
needed and keep the Project Manager informed.
Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, ice control, and storm cleanup as needed.
Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety briefings, and ensure OSHA compliance
Follow all safety procedures, cemetery regulations, and respectful conduct standards.
Represent the cemetery with dignity, professionalism, and respect toward visitors.
Perform related duties as assigned to support cemetery operations.
