We are seeking hardworking, dependable Underground Utility Laborers to assist with the installation of water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and other underground utility systems throughout the Greater Houston area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in heavy civil construction.
***Responsibilities***
Assist crews with installation of underground utilities, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
Assist with trench excavation, pipe laying, bedding, backfilling, and site cleanup.
Work around heavy equipment and support operators as needed.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Perform other labor-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
***Qualifications***
Prior construction experience preferred but not required.
Experience with underground utility construction is a plus.
Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Ability to work overtime when required.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
