We are launching a wall containment business serving the North Houston market and are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with an established background in commercial construction.
This is not a high-pressure sales role. We're looking for someone who already understands the commercial construction industry and can build long-term relationships with general contractors, healthcare systems, property managers, universities, and facility owners.
If you've worked as a Project Manager, Superintendent, Estimator, Business Development Manager, Owner's Representative, or in another commercial construction leadership role, we'd like to talk.
What You'll Do
- Develop relationships with commercial general contractors and project managers
Call on healthcare systems, universities, commercial property managers, and industrial facilities
- Identify renovation and tenant improvement projects early
Conduct lunch-and-learns and project presentations
- Attend industry networking events and trade associations
- Build and maintain a pipeline of repeat customers
- Become the trusted local resource for temporary containment solutions
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience
- Existing relationships within the Houston commercial construction market
- Experience working with general contractors, healthcare, education, or industrial projects
- Comfortable reading plans and understanding commercial renovation projects
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the territory
Bonus Points If You Have Experience With:
- Healthcare construction
- Infection control or ICRA projects
- Commercial renovations
- Facilities management
- Construction business development
- Existing relationships with project managers, estimators, or facility directors
