The general laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, materials recycling facility. Responsibilities may include such things as yard clean-up, sorting recycling materials.
Duties and Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently perform assigned responsibilities to include such duties as:
Clean up work areas
Fuel vehicles and equipment
Clean tracks on track type and related equipment
Perform yard work
Assist day to day operations of the recycling transfer stations.
Assist in cordinating the unloading, sorting, processing, and loading of recyclable materials and waste.
Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work
Perform additional duties and assigned
Qualifications
Required
Outdoor general labor experience
Ability to communicate clearly with team members, management, employees and external customer in an efficient and professional manner
Flexibility to accept and adapt to change as well as the commitment to seek continuous improvement
Preferred
Valid State drivers license and a safe driving record
Solid waste industry experience
Bilingual English/Spanish
