Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Unloader to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for unloading shipments, organizing products, and ensuring that all items are handled with care. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of goods within the warehouse and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting.
Duties
Unload shipments from delivery trucks and containers (Up to 80 lbs).
Sort and organize products for easy access and inventory management.
Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and cherry pickers to move items safely.
Perform order picking tasks as required, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling orders.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize unloading processes.
Assist in shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
Experience
Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety protocols.
Knowledge of order picking processes and shipping/receiving operations is beneficial.
Ability to operate pallet jacks safely.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
