Connect Staffing Solutions is currently hiring a Material Handler / Palletizer for a busy manufacturing facility in the Channelview area. This is an entry-level general labor position working outdoors in a cooling yard environment.
Job Duties:
Manually lift and stack forged metal parts onto pallets
Keep heat codes separated and organized
Visually inspect parts and separate questionable material for Quality Assurance review
Operate packaging equipment as needed
Perform minor rework and de-burring duties
Store materials in designated locations
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Basic math and communication skills
Ability to work well with a team
Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
Must be willing to work overtime when needed
