It is a matte, "veau crispé" (crisped calfskin) with a distinctive raised, pebbled grain, known for being lightweight, soft to the touch, and capable of holding its shape well over time.
• The Exterior: Crafted from Veau Togo, a natural grain calfskin first introduced in 1997. This leather is sought after for its "veining" (the vertical lines often visible in the grain) and its matte finish that develops a slight sheen over time.
