The Patient Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of day to day patient care.
This position requires a High-School graduate or equivalent, must be 18 years or older. At least one (1) year of experience in Home Health Care or Hospice industry is required. The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals is required. Must have good computer technical skills, be team oriented, organized, and be able to focus on detail. .Knowledge of Kinnser Software preferred but will train right candidate
1.Staff/assign new clients to clinicians according to scheduling protocols.
2.Responds promptly and courteously to all patients' inquiries or problems, and directs inquiries or problems appropriately.
3.Coordinates day-to-day schedules for field clinicians and support staff.
4.Manages daily workflow process in Kinnser Software.
5.Processes daily and weekly reports specific to position.
6.Address missed, declined, unverified, and reassigned visits with clinicians.
7.Collaborate with Administrator regarding client concerns or complaints.
8.Attend in-office meetings, and participate in educational programs as mandated.
9.Process visit time slips for payroll processing.
10.Provide input for field staff evaluations per Administrator request.
11.Enter information regarding all phone calls into the coordination notes. Notify staff as appropriate to ensure proper coordination of care and scheduling.
12.Manage On-call duties per policy.
13.Actively promote the values, missions, and culture of the Company.
