Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience with collections either in a hospital setting or physician setting.
Utilize UB04 or CMS-1500 forms.
Knowledge of multiple computer systems - EMR knowledge is mandatory
Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Knowledge in medical terminology
Ability to multitask

Handle patient calls and effectively manage schedule
Contact patients to confirm appointments
Track and report daily scheduling metric

We are looking to hire for multiple positions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Position Qualifications:

High School Diploma required, Associates degree preferred.
3 year front office experience is preferred, medical setting.
MUST be able to use a computer and type
Must be able to work well independently and be detailed-oriented (self-starter & motivated).
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Must be somewhat flexible to be able to work extra hours as needed for back-up.

We provide a competitive salary. Position will consist of 30+ hours a week, preferably 6-8 hours daily (somewhat flexible)
MUST be willing to work Saturdays as needed

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)
Assist in patient care including
- Escort patient to room
- Take vital signs
- Document patient data
- Assist provider
- Discharge patients from room with instructions
- Clean room
Ensure patient flow is speedy and organized
Inventory supplies, replenish supplies when received
Assist in maintaining equipment
Ensure cleanliness of patient waiting area and front office area
Greet and register patients

Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claims that are not paid in a timely mannernt
Verify all procedures and get authorizations and RQIs
