Great old school power source for MiG welding. Very smooth and stable arc, compared to modern inverter based welders that feel choppy. True 250 amp.
You need a wire feeder to make it into a welder. This unit will accommodate 24v and 115 volt wire feeders.
I have several wirefeeders for sale in the $1k-2K range.
Capable of performing demanding welding operations with a rated output of 200 amps, 28 volts at 60% duty cycle. The Regency 250 is ideal for commercial operations where only single-phase power is available.
Low input requirements at rated output significantly lowers operating costs.
Traditional tapped reactor voltage control delivers the classic, easy-to-use “soft” welding arc with 12 possible settings (6-position voltage adjustment in 2 ranges, high and low).
Fan-On-DemandTM cooling system only operates when needed. In dusty or dirty shops, this feature reduces the amount of airborne contaminants pulled through the machine. Reduces power consumption, too.
Ideal when a detachable wire feeder is needed. The 14-pin receptacle provides easy, direct connection to Miller’s wide line of constant speed wire feeders.
It’s now easier to setup the Regency because direct connections are possible between the industrial weld output terminals and cables. The new rubber boot over the terminals gives added protection to these connections.
If you are welding aluminum, you can be confident in the performance of this WFS industrial fab- rication package. The Spoolmatic® 30A gun is lightweight, well-balanced, allows remote control and gives you access to those hard-to-reach welds. It has the muscle to handle tough welding applications and the package includes everything but the wire and gas.
Comes complete with:
Power source with 9 ft (2.7 m) power cord Spoolmatic 30A gun with 30 ft (9.1 m) cable WC-24 control
12 ft (3.7 m) work cable and clamp
Argon mix regulator/flow gauge and hose
