This carbon filter media can be used for water filters and pond filtering or large aquarium tanks to remove pollutants.
These are originally Replacement Carbon Air filters for AIR SCRUBBERS for pollutants and smoke - similar to those in smoke eaters in Bars or restaurants by Camfil- Farr but media is removable and can be used for water filtration.
These 24" x22" plastic filters contain about 8 lbs. of Activated Coconut shell Carbon. I have over 1000 lbs of filter media.
You can easily remove and replace Activated Carbon in your Amway or other Air Filters too.
Good for Fresh air ventilators into the home or HRV or ERVs.
Originally certified for fumes or odors in Hospitals, Daycare, Chemical manufacturing/ assembly areas, public buildings, plants or stores, etc. $15 each, discount for bulk sales. $75 for case of 6.
These are low flow- approx. 150 cfm per filter. Typically enough for a filter hood, welding/solder station or air flow bench filter. Or use several in the same panel for higher airflow.
