Kenwood KR-4070 Restored Vintage Receiver LED - $449 (College Station)

It is in pretty nice shape- has a scratch on the left side, and part of the word "selector" is worn away.
It has been recapped with new capacitors on the power and audio boards including larger filter cans for a bigger reserve of power.
The black leg transitors in the differential pairs and drivers have been replaced with 1% matched pairs.
Lighting has been upgraded to LEDs which looks real sharp on this model with edge lit glass and tuning meters.
The Alps brand rotary power switch that Kenwood and Pioneer used are weak and burn up the contacts, so this has been fixed with a switching transistor to handle the load and prevent burn out.
