We are seeking a driven, college-educated professional to join our team. In this role, you will learn the ropes of managing traffic systems and road construction projects from start to finish. This entry-level Project Manager role is perfect for a recent Construction Management graduate.
You will assist senior Project Managers and field teams. You will learn how to oversee civil electrical projects from start to finish. Your goal is to help projects finish on time, within budget, and to safety standards. Prior experience is a plus, but a solid educational foundation is what we value most.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist senior managers in creating step-by-step project plans, schedules, and managing multiple job sites.
• Learn to monitor project costs, process invoices, and track material purchases.
• Manage project documents, including tracking requests for information (RFIs) and submittals.
• Help ensure all job sites follow safety rules and local building codes.
• Communicate with field workers and subcontractors to order necessary equipment and materials for road and site traffic projects.
• Assist in ordering materials and organizing subcontractor schedules.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is required.
• No prior professional experience is required, though past internships or summer work in civil or electrical construction are preferred.
Skills:
• Ability to manage multiple job sites.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of basic scheduling.
• Great communication skills and a desire to learn on the job.
