I'm the second owner on this Dually and put about 250k miles on it. Served well as my ranch truck as well as for maintaining rentals, hauling equipment, round bales of hay etc. The body has been abused. Fortunately Chevy went to a steel bed after the plastic bed of 2002 or so. I've driven this truck all over the country and has been reliable. The pictures show the oil pressure at 60 PSI at 2000 rpm. In the past year or so, I've installed the following:

2 12volt Duracell Batteries, June 2023,

2 new headlights,

2 side view extendable side mirrors,

1 Alternator

Tires and wheels were installed in 2020, the Tires are Mickey Thompson, 35 inch all terrain tread with more than 50% remaining. The tread is wearing evenly on all 6 tires. These wheels are fixed position wheels so you still need to rotate every 10k miles. You rotate the tires off the wheels. It's expensive but worth it. You can also save a bit by just switching tires and wheels from one side of the vehicle to the other.

Wheels are forged aluminum, MADE IN USA. The tire wheel package was very expensive. Hard to find non-chinese made wheels for dually trucks. I had the wheels polished and coated with 3 coats of clear coat. Should be good for 2 to 3 years. I paid about $5,000.00 for the tires and wheels.

The truck is equipped with:

Gooseneck hitch,

3 ball B & W bumper hitch

50 gallon auxiliary tank with electric pump

Tool box

Edge performance computer - This allows you to check for any codes that might come up. This is very useful and will save you money in the long run. For example, you should not race this truck. When you step hard on a Chevy 3500 it can go into LIMP mode. The Edge lets you delete the LIMP mode code so that you don't lose the race.

Engine has no blowby. They Duramax has a good reputation. I estimate this truck will give you another 50k to 100k before a rebuild
