2004 E55 AMG - $13,200 (Cypress)

Car was restored/refurbished by a Mercedes mechanic over a period of three years, over 20k invested in parts and labor.
Done at 135k miles:
1. Brand new front struts and rear suspension air bags, new compressor and valve block. Arnott.
2. Brand new water pump from Mercedes
3. Brand new Power steering pump
4. SBC Brake module rebuild
5. Brand new Fuel pumps and fuel filter
6. Brand new 533cc Injectors from late model SL55 AMG
7. Engine was pulled from the vehicle and fully resealed, timing cover gaskets and O-rings, upper oil pan reseal and oil pump pick up tube O-ring was changed, valve stem seals replaced (OEM Mercedes).
8.E-85 kit installed
9. New radiator.
10. Intercooler pump replaced (Brand New Bosch)
11. Two new ignition coils
Done at 150k miles:
1. Brand new front suspension, complete. All control arms, ball joints and tie rods were replaced.
2. Late model CLS55 AMG fast steering rack installed, it was fully rebuilt and adjusted per Mercedes factory specifications, steering has no play and feels like you are driving a brand new car.
3. Most of the control arms in the back were replaced.
4. Rare Sl65 AMG 19 inch wheels fully restored with brand new tires ($3200 alone)
5. Brand new front brakes (Brembo) and wheel bearings, rear brakes have 60-70 percent life left,
6. Supercharger was pulled, main bearing replaced, oil was changed (Mobil Jet Oil), ALL sensors were replaced: IAT, MAP, coolant temp sensor.
7. High Flow KN filters installed and brand new intake y-pipe installed.
8. Car was tuned for 500-510 Hp, original tune comes with the car so does the cable to load it. I will also include full instructions on how to make this car 600hp+ with the number of my personal tuner.
9. New Spark plugs, wires and 6 coils.
10. Valve cover gaskets, and PCV hoses.
11. Oil cooler seals, oil filter housing seals.
11. Front end was resprayed, there are no paint chips of any kind on the front of the car. Color match is perfect.
12. Brand new Windshield
13. Upgraded front speakers
14. New Subwoofer
15. Interior was fully taken apart, carpets professionally cleaned and door cards reupholstered.
16. 2007 facelift Sl55 AMG steering wheel installed.
17. Transmission fluid was flushed, new OEM conductor plate installed and Sunex shift kit installed. Transmission shifts like new.
18. All belts, pulleys and tensioner replaced.
19. Rebuilt starter and Brand NEW Bosch alternator and battery.
20. Brand new engine and transmission mounts
21. x-pipe installed
22. Upper and lower radiator hoses replaced and coolant fully flushed and upgraded with Zerex coolant.
I am sure I am missing something, the full amount of work that was done to this car is hard to remember, if I didn't like it, it was replaced immediately. Car has no oil leaks, and no mechanical issues whatsoever.
Oil was changed every 3k miles with Liqui Moly and Hengst filters, vehicle does not consume any oil and has minimal engine wear, these engines last 400k miles easily with proper maintenance.
Flaws: Car does have some paint chips on the doors, nothing out of ordinary. Sunroof tilts but does not slide back, auto trunk function does not work. Tint needs to be redone at some point, it is fading. Rear quarter windows have dry and cracked seals.
You will not find a cleaner E55 AMG on the market for this price, car is pristine. It drives like new, interior smells like a new car and it looks very good on the road. Car is extremely fast and reliable.
