Another fine classic from Topshelfmopars!

This is a great example of a very rare and desirable investment grade classic car. Its an original factory red (FE5) code with black interior, black vinyl top and black longitudinal RT side stripe 1970 Challenger RT

If you are in the market for a good E body project you’ll be hard pressed to find a better starting point. While not a Hemi or 440 sixpack car this car is still quite desirable. Chrysler only built 6014 383 4bbl auto for the 1970 dodge Challenger RT and while no one knows exactly how many are left there is no doubt there are very few not to mention the highly desirable high impact color of Rally Red (FE5), black bucket seat interior (H6X9), black vinyl top (V1X), Rally guages (A62), black longitudinal tape stripe (V6X) and power steering.
All the rust repair that this car needed has been expertly repaired with AMD panels. See pix for the progression/evolution that this car went thru. We cut out all the rusty floors, trunk, quarters, ect, (all frame rails were good) sent the car to the blaster then spent a couple hours blowing all the sand out then sprayed the entire body top to bottom with 2 coats of PPG epoxy primer (including the insides of the rear frame rails and torsion bar cross member) then fit and installed all the new sheetmetal. We then sprayed the backsides of the quarters and outsides of the outer wheel houses and trunk extensions with epoxy primer and the correct FE5 red to further rust proof the car. (Something the factory didn’t even do). We also seam sealed all the joints on trunk and floor pans same as factory did and then sprayed everything with 2 coats of the factory FE5 red including the entire underside. The car is bullet proof now.
See the pic with all the loose parts on the ground for ALL the parts we have that are not currently attached to the car. We don’t have ANY other parts. All fasteners are bagged and tagged. It has a very nice grill. Hood and deck lid are new. Both front and rear windshield channels were blasted and primed. All glass is present and in good shape except windshield. We cleaned and regreased the quarter glass and door glass regulators when we had the quarters off so they roll up and down real nice. We installed 2 new quarters on both sides. New one piece trunk floor, trunk extensions, outer wheel houses, deck filler panel, full floor pans and complete upper and lower firewall. Both front and rear suspension was blasted at same time body was and sprayed in 2 coats of black PPG epoxy primer. Wheels are the orig 14” road wheels that came on it.
Engine is a 383, trans is a 727. Both will need rebuilt. Rear end is the original 8-3/4” housing, axles, ect.
This car has had the first few steps of a rotisserie restoration with all the hard work done and is ready for you to take it to the next level!

Fendertag, dash vin plate and both body stampings all match.

If u think this car is over priced see last pic for a red 1970 Challenger RT 383 auto that just sold in sept at Dallas Mecum for $78,000! Mopars are hotter than ever!
